Crazy Days - but good
Wow - just occurred to me that today it is 2 months till we leave for our California trip and then on to Australia. Time is definitely flying and definitely not my friend. I feel so absolutely overwhelmed with everything that has to happen between now and then. Ariel finishes 7th grade next Thursday. Then we have about a week free (free- ha, that's a laugh!), then last night out with my Bunco friends, Ariel has her modeling portfolio shot, then she goes on our church's summer choir/mission trip to Philly and I go with my mom and sister to see relatives. Then she gets back the day before her last fashion show for Barbizon, on the 19th of June. Then Ken comes home, we have Ariel's National American Miss Pageant the last weekend of June and Ken goes back to Brisbane. But let's go back because we have to put together a letter to take to businesses this week to get advertising for the Pageant Brochure and also a letter to ask people to contribute to her participation in the pageant. Also, very important, our niece, Melissa, graduates from High School on the 27th of May. Two of Zack's friends are graduating from college and one from the Air Force Academy. At the beginning of July, the guys who are leasing our home while we're gone are moving in, the next week the movers come for our stuff and the week after that, we leave. But wait, because before that my best friend Karen's daughter Nicole is getting married up in Dallas and I also want to see all our Dallas friends and my niece Mandi.
Oh, yeah, and write the book and find a publisher and get the house ready to pack and lose weight and work out and give away a ton of stuff or sell it and . . .
Please pray for me, that I may face all this and accomplish much. And not go too crazy.

Sell what you can, pack what you need and give away the rest. Forget about the weight. Keep trusting God. Today He will give you the strength you need, but just what you will need for today. Tomorrow's ration will come when tomorrow gets here.
Thank you - I know that's all true - it just seems so overwhelming when I look at it all at once.
